I purchased the Jobst socks for a long plane ride 6 business days before departure. Shipping states 3-5 business days required. Unfortunately, the socks showed up the day after I left... very disappointing. I am an Amazon Prime customer too. Beware Prime customers, you don't get the Prime service here!
I used these socks while traveling on a later trip. I put them on at the house, but by the time I was at the airport, they slide 1/2 way down my calf. They do not stay up if you are walking; even walking just a little bit.
For air travel they seemed okay, and for the car, just pull them up once you sit down. I'd rather have a pair that stayed up though. I am not sure of the benefit to the legs is the pressure is lost as they slide down, then reapplied as you pull them up, then down, then up, then ...
The expectation is with brand new socks to stay up! I purchased a more expensive pair at the airport for my first flight, since I had not received the Jobst socks yet. The other brand is great. I even used them while snow skiing and they stayed up the whole time! To me, Jobst are low quality and second rate. Spend a few more bucks and protect your legs!
Sorry, I don't recall the other brand as once I purchased them at the airport, I put them on and threw away the container.
