Product Reviews of Burt's Bees Herbal Insect Repellent, 4-Ounce BottleProduct Review: Love This Product Summary: 5 Stars
Not only does this herbal insect repellent work well, it smells great! Plus, when I put some in my hair to keep bugs away, my hair is nice and conditioned after washing it.
Product Review: Mosquitoes hate it. Japanese beetles love it. Summary: 3 Stars
It's true that this nice-smelling (though really oily and hard to apply) repellent keeps the bugs from biting. But it doesn't stop them from trying to mate with your head -- if they're Japanese beetles. Ick. So if it's JB season, use something else. Hate to say it, because I love Burt's Bees products.
Product Review: Wonderful stuff Summary: 5 Stars
I don't understand the negative reviews on this product because it really works! Well, for me anyway.
The product does go on a little oily and messy, but it's worth it. I had a mosquito bite under my knee cap recently, and I applied this stuff to it before I went to bed and when I woke up the next day the bite was gone!!
This product has worked great as a insect repellent and as a bug bite relief.
Highly recommend.
10 stars!

Product Review: attracts japanese beetles! Summary: 2 Stars
I didn't have very good luck w/ the product. It didn't repel mosquitoes and Japanese beetles started flying into me. Creepy. But if you like Japanese beetles, then this is the product for you.
Product Review: review to keep the buggies away Summary: 5 Stars
I used this insect repellent while I was building a maze for a fundraiser. It really keeped me safe from the misquitoes of southern Mississippi. And it has no nasty chemical smell, like other repellents. It just smells of lemon oil.
It is a little oily, but alot goes a very long way.
