The spray is more of a squirt - it does not mist out so I end up putting it in my palm and rubbing it on. I did try and spray it on and ended up with an oil spot on my shirt and shorts.
Minus that one annoyance, it does work great.

I purchased this because my 16 month old daughter was getting bitten every time we would go outside. I wanted to try a mild insect repellent for her. It worked like a charm and the ingredients were mild enough to use on her face which is where she got bitten the most. After using this product no bites, no breakout on her face, and it smells good.
I started using it too.
