This is honestly the best lip balm I've ever used. It's well-worth the around $3 I've paid for it in stores. I used to use it religiously and loyally, and now that I haven't used it in a year or so, I swear my lips have decreased in volume and suppleness, which, I'm happy to say, I was often complemented on. I have used these for 6 years now. I first used these when I was taking a medication which temporarily made my lips very dry and these very quickly alleviated my problem. Now, I no longer need to use these everyday but I still do because they prevent any cracking or chapping of my lips.
I have used Chapstick and various other competing products, yet this one worked the best. Please note, I think there are very few, if any, bad lip balms out there, and I have used quite a few different ones. If your primary concern is cost, then you may want to try competing products which works almost as well at around 33% lower cost.
The Burt's Bee wax lip balm sticks to your lips very tightly without leaving any undue residue. There will be some residue, but the residue wax is lighter than the competing products. Furthermore, the wax stays on for a longer period and moisturizes better than the competing products. Another benefit of these lip balms is their higher melting temperature. Even when you put these in your pocket, they will withstand the heat very well and still glide on very smoothly without smudging your lips.
