This is a very nice set to look at.But the mug is only a coffee cup. I was expecting a real shaving mug. The mug should have been short and a little more rounded. Also the soap is of very low quality. It is nothing but face soap. Shaving soap should lather up a lot better.
The brush is very good and the tin box that the kit came in is very nice.
Over all I was a little disappointed and if it wasn't such a hassle I would have returned it and located a real shaving mug kit.
If you can find it, the Old Spice Mug and Brush are the best.

I just got this tin the other day and haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I'm really impressed by it.. I just bought it to have an extra brush because the prize is really good. The tin, the mug, and the soap are a really nice extra bonus for me. The soap smells really nice. The brush is nice and soft too. I bought this for giggles -- I once had a similar Old Spice set many years ago, and remembered it fondly. It didn't fail me -- the soap smelled nice, though wasn't anything remarkable (if you want remarkable, see Col Conk), the brush was surprisingly good -- my eldest son confiscated mine. The mug is a classic that may one day hold coffee for me. Fun, inexpensive, and a great intro into the art of shaving with a mug and brush!Product Review: Good deal

If you are an old timer this will being back memories and as far as this Burma shave kit it is a good deal, I don't see how you can go wrong, been using mine every day with no complaints. If your new to DE shaving learn how to use the brush and soap the right way, many web site's well tell you how, there is a right and wrong way to use a brush.Product Review: Great shave set for the money

This is a good quality shave set for such a low price,and the soap smells good.Was a little worried at first,because the brush was made of boar hair and not badger,but I have to say I was surprised at how good the brush preformed,holds the soap well and goes on smooth.I love it.Shipping time took one week which was ok for me.Give it a try you can`t go wrong before there all gone.
