No miracle cream will work any such wonder if it can't penetrate that layer of dead cells. Daily exfoliation is the key to maximizing effectiveness of other products. I've been using BufPufs and Neutrogena soap to wash my face for over 25 years and have never, ever had a skin problem. Even though they're harder to find at the stores these days, they're worth hunting down. Some people with more sensitive skin might prefer the gentle version, but I've always gotten good results with the standard.Product Review: Oily, Dirty Face

I have oily and sometimes flaky skin (when I don't wash my face for a day). I feel that Buf Puf scrubs away the dirt off my face more than just washing alone with my hands. Keep in mind that when you first use this sponge that it'll be hard but after a while it'll ease up and be a bit more softer. I'm a type of person who scrubs hard so if you scrub hard and like to be EXTREMELY clean then this is for you.Product Review: exfoliate every day
