I bought this to protect the bandage on my ankle following surgery. It was very tight around the leg, keeping the bandage completely dry. The bag itself quite large and would fit even a full lower-leg cast.Product Review: Works like a charm

I recently had a cast placed on my left foot for the second time in 6 years. Both times I have used this waterproof cast cover to shower without worrying about the cast getting wet. The rubber gasket provides a great seal. The first time I used it, the gasket actually ripped a little on my cast but this did not have any impact on the functionality. have not used it yet for real since i broke my arm before surgery but i did try it on my leg without a cast. i am sure it would work well and is well made. the part that makes the seal is so tight that it is uncomfortable. my skin might be more sensitive than others. i will make the opening bigger when i do use it.Product Review: cast protector

When a had my leg cast, it was so difficult to bathe. I didn't want to try tying a garbage bag around my cast nor did the idea of sponge baths for a month appeal to me. I ordered this and it changed my whole morning routine. I was able to shower as I normally would. This works fantastically. I checked the bag ever day after my shower for an entire month and no water ever seeped in. It made having a cast just a little bit more manageable. I just wish that the Orthopedic recommended it.
