Do not under any circumstances buy this item--there's a reason it's much cheaper than the comparable shoe stretcher: the very first time we put it into a shoe and turned the crank, the wooden foot form cracked. No point in writing more--we know how to use a shoe stretcher, and this one doesn't do the job. It doesn't even deserve ONE star.
