These aren't exactly the same as the Sharper Image masks, but they're very close. The price is great and they are the best sleep masks! We get a lot of light in our bedroom in the morning and they block everything out. They're also really comfortable. I can sleep the whole night without my mask falling off. (which is good because it doesn't do you any good if you have to wake up to put it back on when the sun starts coming up!) I just bought more for my husband and I in case we ever lose ours!Product Review: Good Product

This was a gift for my brother and he really likes the mask. He said there is still a little light coming in at the bottom but not bad enough to make it a problem. So in all it was a good choice.Product Review: Good for more than blocking light!

I suffer from chronic dry eyes. My eyelids don't close all the way when I'm sleeping which leads to painfully dry eyes in the morning. This is made worse by the fact that I cannot sleep without my fan on. I use ointment and a sleep mask to try and keep my eyes from drying out too badly when I sleep. This mask extends around the side of my head to my ears. It is also wider than my previous sleep masks. The strap closes with velcro in the back and, unlike my previous masks, is not stretchy. The result is that the mask stays in place much better and thus blocks air much more efficiently. There is some movement but not nearly as much as I had before. I can open my eyes under it with no trouble even though I wear it tight enough to keep it in place. The size and thickness of the mask also makes it excellent at blocking light.
There are cons though. The mask is big and does sit on the sinuses. It is also pretty thick. I thought this might bother me, especially since I started using it right when pollen began falling in earnest. I know that it's there but it hasn't bothered me too much. My sister tried it on though and said it was too much on her sinuses. There is also a pouch on each side at the bottom where you can keep ear plugs when not in use. I think this adds a bit of bulk right on top of my sinuses that really borders on being too much. I've been contemplating removing those.

First off, the mask does exactly what it should. It keeps out the light, and stays on your face well (at least, when you're lying down; I haven't tried it seated, as on a plane or train).
However, this much is achieved by most other sleep masks as well. Meanwhile, in contrast to those masks, this one is quite bulky, and a little heavy (for a mask). This may impact its ability to remain in place while you're seated (though I doubt it's a problem so long as the strap is properly adjusted. Because of the extra bulky weight, it's not as comfortable as other masks. I don't find the fact that it's made of "memory foam" to be particularly helpful for comfort; a normal sleep mask is still more comfortable.
However, it's not actually _un_comfortable. I like it well enough, I'm keeping mine, not sending it back. But the alternatives may be a little better.

Light tends to keep me awake and this is the perfect solution to light pollution or if your partner likes to stay up reading. A lot of masks tend to slip off so I'd still wake up when it got light out but this one stays in place comfortably. I would get it again.
