I have used several different electric razors and this is by far the best one I've ever used. Even so, it has a tough time with the hairs under the chink and on neck, but even there does a better job than any I've ever used. Mightly price, but well worth it to me.Product Review: Best one out there

This is truly the best shaver I have ever used. I have a really tough beard so it's not the closest shave, but it is the most comfortable and still as close as I need. I finally found a razor that I can shave with everyday without getting razor bumps. The cleaner works great too, and it holds a charge for about a month for me - even shaving everyday without charging it.Product Review: Best shave

The Braun 8995 gives the best shave i could hope for. as with any shaver, a lot depends on your own personal opinion, but when i actively compared the 8995 to my braun Free Glide, the results where spectacular. typically it would take me 7 or so minutes to shave, but with the 8995, it take about 3 mins. It is truly a product that delivers on its promise.
Now that i praised it enough, let me tell you about possible draw backs. you cant buy this shaver expecting it to be worlds different from what you may have. in my case the Free Glider doesn't have an oscillating head, better foil, or any of the bells and wissels that the 8995 comes with. remember that if you have the Braun Actuator then there may not be a reason to spend so much to upgrade when you can most likely put the foil and cutter block from one onto another and save an arm and lag. Price is also a factor. $219.00 is just to much so if you decide that it is right for you, then find it on line and save yourself at least $20.00-$50.00 at places like Amazon.com or shavers.com.
This is the best shaver Ive seen and i recommend it for ease of use, cleanliness, and capabilities, but not unless your really looking to replace a defective or out dated model, and not just as a fad.

This shaver rocks. I hate to shave, I hate razors, especially over priced razors. I have tough hair, every other razor I have ever used could not shave my face close to the skin. They always left hairs and I would have to go over my skin with a razor to clean it up. This shaver, has always given me a perfect shave. I have nothing bad to say about this thing at all. It self cleans itself, which is great. The cleaner tends to dry out quick in the summer, especially if you have no AC. I pour rubbing alcohol into the container to make it last longer. It doesn't hurt as the main component in the fluid is alcohol. I would recommend this one as to the new ones out there, they are much more expensive and I can't see how they could get any better than this one.Product Review: Best shave ever!

What can I say other than it's the best and most comfortable shave I've ever had. It is also as close a shave as any blade alternative on the market. Not only do I use it on my face everyday, but additionally I use it to shave my head bald twice a week, and it's always smooth afterwards, and quite a bit of stubble grows on my head between shaves. It's as sleek and as powerful as advertised, and with the daily cleaning and recharge, it's like using a new razor every morning. One thing the ads don't tell you: the charge/cleaning system occassionally refreshes the battery automatically by completely discharging and then recharging it so it will always have as full a charge as it can handle -- this is a good selling point that Braun should advertise on the package label.
