This epilator is the best I have ever used. Much less painful than the original Epilady and more powerful than the cordless ones I've tried.
It's fast and it really does work on the underarms!

I started epilating instead of shaving about three years ago. This one is the best I've found so far. It is fast yet gentle. That's the main thing. The other Braun (blue) is nice because of the light, but it doesn't grab as well as this pink one so is somewhat slow.Product Review: Best hair removal system I've ever owned

I purchased this item three years ago and have had no problems with it. I use it often, usually 5-10 minutes per day as quick hair removal, and have had no problems with it. I was expecting it to break down once the warranty went out, which is common with small appliances, but it's lasted.
I have noticed an increase in ingrown hairs, but it hasn't been that severe and I love how smooth my legs stay after using this product. Once you get used to the hairs being pulled out, it's not that painful, even in the underarm and bikini areas.

It's now 2011 and I'm still using this same item. I agree with everything I said about it earlier, but now even more so.
I still use it regularly, except not so often. This isn't due to the product breaking, it's because my hair doesn't grow as much as it used to. I can go at least a week now and not notice a huge difference in how hairly my legs are. I even recently went on vacation at a resort and hadn't "plucked" in over a week and didn't feel self-conscious about it at all.
If this one ever breaks, I'll get another one just like it (if they still make it by then.....)

After using the battery-operated EpiLady Traveler for a couple of months, I got fed up with the batteries running down after only a few minutes of use and the slow rate of leg-hair removal. Ordered the Braun Soft Perfection with AC adapter, and am AMAZED at what a fantastic job it does, with virtually no discomfort. It seems to remove more hair faster, without the annoyance of having to replace batteries after virtually every use.
