No charge for shipping. Easy to install in place of 18 month old shaver 9000 Foil and Cutterblock. Very satisfied with about one month use of of this product! When you first change on the foil and cutterblock it doesn't really shave close at all and takes a few days to re-adjust itself before you get a close shave again, but ultimately it does return to the original quality of shave.Product Review: It shaves like new again.

I purchased the high-end Braun series 9000 razor in the summer of 2008. I decided to spend a lot to accomplish a lot. I have a tough beard, and while disposable razors (or disposable razor heads) work fine, I don't like the hassle and the once-in-a-while nick.
Until the Braun, I was a three-head electric razor fan. But they weren't getting the job done. So I took the plunge.
Don't do it.
It was great for about a month, but I soon found it was not doing an effective job and I often have to finish things off with a disposable. Ain't supposed to work that way, folks, not with a $200-plus razor. I know, I'm reviewing the replacement foil and cutterblock. That's part of the problem. Braun says replace it every 18 months or so. Because of my frustration with the razor, I decided to replace the foil, etc., way early to see if that made a difference. Another $30 down the drain. It didn't help.
What I do like: The Braun razors' cleaning system. But what good is a clean razor if it doesn't do the job?
