I have a 1000 series and this thing fit like a glove (and not the O.J. kind). Blue housing? WTF? Mine is black, like the original. If you want a black one, like the first two pictures in the ad, then don't buy from this seller. The bait-and-switch-outlet will send you a blue one even though you wanted the black one and then will be extremely pissy when you complain. Then they reluctantly offer only to refund the purchase price. So ... guess what? You get to pay for them to ship the wrong thing to you and then you get to pay to ship it back to them.
