Product Review: OMG Does This Stuff Clean

Yep, a product I have to buy in order to clean my electric razor. Smart idea for Braun to make a product that will keep bringing money in until the product breaks. Of course I bought the Braun electric razor knowing I would have to buy the cleaner. As for the cleaner. It does what it is suppose to, which is to clean the Braun razor. Those of us who shave have to "face" it.... shavers and razors all have repeated costs. A normal razor requires new blades, shaving cream, and after-shave (sometimes pre-shave). People have gotten used to the idea that electric shavers should have fewer consumables (especially given the cost). However, electric shavers have greatly improved in recent years, and the new Brauns are about the greatest shavers on the market today. Part of the way they achieve such a close cut is that they do not "gunk up" with skin cells and oil the way other shavers do. I guess you could clean another shaver daily, but the Clean and Renew is about the best way I have seen to maintain a consistently close shave. I accept the monthly cost of these cartridges the way one would buy shaving cream, shampoo, or any other toiletry. They do a nice job and smell quite pleasant. Only issue is that the smell is not designed to go right on your face. If you remove the shaver mid-cycle and try to use it, it is not a pleasant experience. But one the liquid dries, the shaver has a pleasant aroma. Recommended!Product Review: Bad design trumps lemony freshness

Because Braun could not be bothered to incorporate some kind of plug into the design, the alcohol solution evaporates from these cartridges at warp speed, making this a pretty major rip-off if your shaving ritual is intermittent. I've had one of these things go completely dry before I could use it even once! You might as well take a $5 bill and send it directly to Braun, maybe with a nice note: "Dear Braun, I found this fiver in my wallet and immediately thought of you. Buy yourself something pretty." But if you're gonna order these cartridges anyway, get the 2-pack instead of the 3-pack; as of this writing, in the 2-pack they cost around $5 apiece, whereas it's about $6 in the 3-pack.Product Review: This works great

I use this for my Braun shaver, and it cleans the shaver really well automatically. It's easy to replace the refills. I highly recommend this for anyone who owns a supported Braun shaver. I used this for years, and haven't had any problems with it yet.Product Review: Braun Refills
