The Braun 8595 Shaving system is a great bargain. It has the important features of thier top line shaver, at a great cost savings over their top end system.
The shaver is very comfortable, and I get the best shaves I've ever gotten with an electric razor.
To get a really close shave I've always had to shave the same area repeatedly for several minutes with my older Norelco. The Braun gives me a close shave every time, with just a single pass.
I like the fast charge time, and I like being able to use the razor on AC power with the single AC cord, when I travel.
The self cleaning feature is handy, but it is a bit too much like a 'gimmick'. I bought the Braun to get a close comfortable shave, and it certainly accomplished this goalfor me.
It out performs my previous electric shaver hands down.
I would rcommend it to anyone who wants a good clean comfortable shave without a lot of bells and whistles.
