I don't want to talk about the specs since it's all there.
This is a coool shaver.
It shaves really close.
In most cases one reason you choose manual rather than automatic shaver is because it cut's loose while manual shaver cuts very clean. We use automatic shaver becuase it is convenient regaredless of that loose cut.
But I think this shaver cuts pretty clean compared to other items I have used before.
Don't hesitate.

This thing works great. I've been using electrics in the 30-60 dollar range for about twenty years, throwing them away when the heads got dull, always had the five o'clock shadow at 10 am...I always chalked it up to the fact that my beard is pretty nasty.
Decided to spend the extra cash for something decent, it's fast, shaves a lot closer and has already outlasted three of the cheap razors. The self cleaning unit is coool....
Still have to zap those stray neck whiskers with a regular blade, but I can live with that...

I have used a blade all my life and will never go back! I love this razor. I refil the cleaning cartrige with alcohol and spray lubricate the razor with Remington SP-4 Shaver Saver. Works Great.
Product Review: Not a real upgrade from braun 5790, Only cleaning system better

2 stars for the cleaning system, cuz THere is a difference than braun 5790 cleaning system. (finally a cleaning that actually works!)
One star for the trimmer that also "quite" works, a better than trimmer in braun 5790 that never worked, however still not perfect.
However, first thing one look for in a shaver is how good is it at shaving. This one is no better at shaving than braun 5790. The hair that braun 5790 could not get on my neck, braun 7526 is not better..
Anyway, for me, Braun 7526 does better job in shaving than Gillette M3Power. (I have thick dense beard, I need to shave everyday, and I still need to shave everyday, however, with Gillette M3Power, in the afternoon I had my beard grown again. now with Braun 7526, I have a closer shave, and it takes till next morning so my beard grows again). One star is added here.
two years ago, I bought from bestbuy braun 5790 with replacement plan (only $10 for a two year replacement plan). B4 the two years ended, I took advantage of the replacement plan and got braun 7526, thinking it would be a far better upgrade. (not up to my expectations as an upgrade in shaving).
5790 to 7526, u would think there is a lot of changes and improvements, but not really!
