Product Review: Easy Clean Up

This razor gives a good close shave and for that I am pleased. However, the best part is the clean up. After shaving, just place the razor in the cleaner and push clean and charge and you'll be all set for your next shave. Product Review: Great Shaver - Needs better foil screen.

I've had this shaver for about a year and half, and it's the best electric shaver I've ever owned.
This is the first electric shaver I've had where I've truly been able to get rid of my blades shaver -- before I always kept them around to take care of stubborn hair my electric would miss, but not with this one. The cleaning and charge mechanism is a great bonus too.
My only complaint has been the lifespan of the foil that covers the blades. My first foil last almost a year -- as expected. I then changed the foil and blades as recommended by Braun. My replacement foil, however, has lastet less than 6 months. Parts of the foil are cracking and falling off, leaving the blades exposed.
My Recommendation: Great Shaver... but keep plenty of cleaning solution, and maybe a spare blade and foil set as backup.

I bought this for my husband because he really liked the idea of a self-cleaning razor. It worked okay for a month or so and then broke. He sent it in for repair and it came back working properly. A few months later, it broke again. Again it was fixed. Props to customer service for this.
Since we were already going broke paying for the cleaning solutions, when it broke a third time, we decided it wasn't worth the hassle and bought a different one.

Bought this item as a gift for my husband. He says it has never done a good job of shaving his neck area. Recently, it stopped working correctly, seemed to jam and was difficult to turn off. Bought my husband a diffent brand of razor. He is MUCH happier with the new brand. No more Braun shavers for him!Product Review: Still going strong after over 5 years!

I have use this daily since mid-2001. I think they make this to last so they will have consumables (blades, cleaner packs) customers for life.
Batteries still take a strong charge, and everyting else works just fine. I just ordered a new set of blades, and considering the track record on this, I doubt it will be my last.
