I have to shave my husbands beard each day. He is handicapped. The Braun is the easiest shaver I have used. It was getting dull and pulling his whiskers. The new replacement combo has eliminated this and I am about ready to order another replacement to have on hand.

The new blade makes a shave as quick and close as when the shaver was new. My only concern is whether the blade will provide this performance for 18 months as suggested and some earlier blade replacements and the original blade did, or has my beard toughened as I have further matured since the previous blade only provided good performance for about 6 months. The blade that provided about 6 months of good performance was my third or fourth replacement, so at least you can tell the shaver itself has good longevity.Product Review: Braun 8975 replacement head combo

Glad I read the other Amazon reviews recommending this over the "new replacement" head combo for my Braun 8975 shaver. This head replacement set shaves great and costs less too. It fits perfectly and looks good also. Buy it; I am glad that I did.
