Wow... I really scored some points with my wife when I purchased this thing. She previously had another brand epilator that she seemed very happy with. It held up pretty good, but finally died after about 3 -4 years. She mentioned it to me so I took a look at it and it was truely beyond saving. I took it upon myself to save the day and checked out numerous different brands and models before selecting the Braun 5270 Silk-?pil X'elle Body System Epilator for purchase. I was a little leary about doing this as my wife is sometimes hard to please, especially when it comes to buying her "lady-things". I got a pretty good price from Amazon.com and the order arrived in just a couple of days. She used it that night and the verdict came in and it was very positive. She told me it was so much nicer than her previous epilator and worked much faster. She remains thriller with it and I have benefitted from that in many way (of which I will not discuss on a public forum). Needless to say, I am giving this a five star rating. I think if my wife were writing this she would try to give it at least six stars. A very nice product that very much lives up to what it says it will do.Product Review: For what it does, it's the best !

I bought an epilator years ago and was very disappointed. Last year I bought an "As Seen on TV" epilator and though it had one tweezer head, I could tell that the idea was good.
With no expectation, I bought this one. Background: I have a very hairy face. I'm not talking fine facial hair. Bleaching does no good--it just gives me white hair instead. Nair is useless, so my only alternatives are constant tweezing, shaving, waxing or epilating. I did the first three for decades.
I LOVE this epilator. Although some people don't like the little light, I find it helpful sometimes. Regardless, the actual tweezer heads are wonderful. Nothing is perfect, and I still have to use it more often than I would like, but that's the fault of my face--not the product.
My face is tough after years of waxing, so I notice minimal-to-no discomfort. I tried it under my arms and it definitely was painful and not worth it, so I'll stick to shaving there. Same with the bikini area (but I would try that again). For my face--it's fantastic. My under-chin area is finally touchable, as is the rest of my face. What I really like is that I can literally do it five minutes before leaving the house--and my face isn't red. If I were to tweeze, it would be.
I love it so much that I'm tempted to buy another "just in case" anything happens to it.

If you wax and hate getting wax all over the floor and on everything, this is a super alternative. it gets all the hair out. know that when you are pulling hair out, it will be a tad tender! my hair grows rediculously quickly, but my results last about a week, and with the regrowth being like normal soft hair instead of grizzly stubble, I'm happy. it gets around my knees, bikini area and underarms with ease and doesn't grab my skin. I'm ultra sensitive, so I feel comfortable recommending the xelle to weenies like me.Product Review: It's fabulous! It's the solution! Even if it hurts!

Okay, so we wax and it hurts, we shave and hair grows back twice as thick and as quickly.
This product is wonferdul. The little pain goes away as soon as you feel how smooth your skin is. Trust me.
Buy it now while the price is down. You will save tons if you are the type who uses wax.

This product is really good... It helps remove even the short hairs... Very easy to operate and also the work gets completed in a short while sitting at home rather than going to a parlor for wax.
