Product Review: No pain, no gain

PAIN:
The product description is very misleading. Using this is by no means 'painless' nor does it feel like a 'massage' where the rolllers 'glide over the skin'. Don't be gullible, ripping out hair from the roots cannot be such a pleasant and relaxing experience.
The level of pain depends on where you're using this.. I had no problem doing the lower half of my legs/arms; the upper halves hurt a little more; underarms hurt quite a bit depending on how taut my skin was (tauter hurt less); and I will probably never try the bikini area again.
I'm sure it will hurt more/less depending on each person's waxing/shaving history, on the thickness/fineness of the hair, and your level of tolerance for pain.
RESULTS:
Unless all of your hair grows at the exact same rate, you probably won't have perfectly smooth skin for 'up to 6 weeks' as claimed. However I've found that the porcupine/cactus-like feeling that comes with stubbles growing back after 3 days, is significantly reduced. Also, fair skinned people with dark hair don't have to worry about the leftover roots showing through from under the skin after shaving. It's an added value for people whose hair color is much darker than their skin's.
You may have to do a quick shave or epilate or pluck for maintaining the near perfect hairless skin; straggler hairs are bound to appear for most people.
USAGE:
It is pretty loud for its size and I wouldn't use this at night where there are people sleeping nearby. It's probably almost as loud as my hair dryer.
Sadly there is no depository for the plucked hair so your floor/bathroom can get rather messy. Don't use this on carpeted floors.
I love being able to epilate at my leisure in the comfort of my own bathroom. And if you pay to get waxed regularly, this epilator will pay for itself over a couple of months.

Painful? Yes.
Better than waxing(for a regular "waxer")? Yes.
Better than shaving? Yes, smoothness lasts much longer, hair grows back softer.
More painful than shaving (cuts) and waxing(bruises)put together? Heck yes.
Advice? Yes, have a small towel and a bowl of hot water beside you while epilating. Before epilating a patch of skin, dip the towel into the water and gently dab the area for at least 15 seconds, then wipe off and epilate. Relax and don't anticipate pain.
Great for a person who has two jobs and school and/or kids AND hairy Hands/Legs? NO. Takes ridiculous amounts of time. Quick for epilating (frequently epilated) underarms though.

I purchased this product yesterday after extensive research and I must say it is fabulous. I was a little frightened by the mention of pain so many times but thought I would try it out and the pain is minimal and is really only prominent is certain spots. I didn't know what to expect, but if you follow the directions precisely and trim your hair short to a 1/8 stubble and exfoliate, this thing works wonders. I did my dark, coarse hair bikini line and three weeks later -- smooth and the hair that's growing back is finer and lighter! Amazing that the advertising on the box meets and exceeds expectations. Exfoliate a lot and use crushed aspirin in distilled water to soothe the bumps and visine to take the red out. It didn't hurt me much, but I really exfoliate so that might be the reason why. However, I did my underarms and that really smarted. Worth it though.Product Review: Good product

Very good and very fast. Very painless. Massaging staff really helps and i like its light.
Not good for underarms. The speed is too high for such sensitive and lots-of-hair area. Massaging doesn't help in this case, it is not plane area like a leg. So it is painful and hard to do. This is the only point in which my last epilator was performing better.
In general, it is much better then the one I had before.
It's speed is the point. You don't need to spend hours and hours to complete the process. If you work a lot and have troubles with free time - this should be best choise for you.
