Product Review: Love the floating cutter bar

I have owned three of these shavers. Mainly because it is about as cheep to buy a complete shaver as it is to replace the cutter head. But show me a cutting head any cheaper. This is the only shaver I have ever liked. The hair on my neck lays flat and the cutter bar helps to pick it up to be cut. Especially when I go a day without shaving. Show me another shaver that does that and I'll try it.Product Review: Nice Shaver!

I previously had a Braun and wanted to get another. This is an excellent shaver, and for the price, you can't beat it! It keeps a charge for several days/uses without the need to keep it plugged in. Not sure what the combi shave setting is for. The combi shave setting snaps out the horizontal trimmer that you usually use to trim a moustache or sideburns. How do you do both? Not important for me, I just use them individually. This feature is an added feature that I don't use. All in all its a nice razor and gives a close shave!Product Review: Nice for the head too!

I purchased this shaver last year was very happy. I have a very difficult neck to shave, and this was the first electric shaver that really got the job done. For that reason I'd have to rate it just about as high as you can for a shaver under $50. It looks like Braun has changed to a snazzier color and dropped the price $5, so that's all the more reason. My only complaint is last week I did a routine drop off my bathroom counter (3 feet) and that was enough to bust the shaver. I guess I should have kept it in the nice soft case, but still, this is definately not the most durable shaver out there. Also the head is not washable and the popup trimmer is very short, so if those features are important, check out the 5600 series.Product Review: Nice shave for the money

When evaluating this shaver, I had to take the price into consideration. It's not the most powerful but it gets the job done. It does not feel as sturdy as my 10 year old Braun, but for 30 some dollars - what do you expect? If you have more money to spend, I might suggest going for a dual foil design, but if this is the price range you are in - I recommend this shaver. It's lightweight, and best of all it can be used cordless, or with the cord attached. That means that when the battery inevitabley decides to quit, the shaver is not done.
