I use one with every dryer load (except when drying sheets; I use 2 for a bit more freshness). I am very sensitive / allergic to fragrances, and these do not bother me at all. I have used one in a dresser drawer and it does keep a light fragrance -- a more subtle fragrance than using Febreze spray.
