love the bars - i have had one fall apart in the dryer but otherwise, "WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE"! i'm sure proctor and gamble will replace it!
sorry - to the one review person - not believing this bar "ruined" your dryer! as i mentioned, i had one fall apart and will need replacement. it fell into pieces in the dryer but the dryer is perfectly fine.
Product Review: doesn't work AND it's GROSS

I purchased this thing because I had a coupon, and i still paid too much.
My hair was full of static from the clothes, and nothing was as fresh smelling or as soft as when I use dryer sheets.
Now the thing looks nasty. The lint is stuck all over it. I'm waiting for all the lotion-y stuff to melt away so I can remove it (paid so much, I feel like i need to get SOMETHING out of it); however, the base is stuck to the dryer-probably forever.
It's not like I show off the inside of the dryer to guests, but just annoying because I know it's there.
The concept was good, but it doesn't take any time to throw in a dryer sheet-and you know they work.

I have used 4 of these bars now with no problems to speak of. The holder has remained stuck to the drum well through all replacements. The bars have not crumbled, deteriorated or left streaks on my garments. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I do not believe it lasts as long as advertised. Maybe instead of an amount of time it should be changed to the number of loads. Other than that I can definitely tell it is working as the static returns when the bar is gone.
