This is a decent item for cleaning up front, not so great for getting behind. I found that as a woman you run into the need to go from back to front with it after a mastectomy since you can't move your arms well. And since you have to do that it runs the risk of cross contamination. It would work better if it were about 3 inches longer. As others have said this works best with the moist wipes (flushable) since they are thicker.
I would definitely recommend this product in conjunction with the Lav-Aid sprayer. Mainly just as a dryer. The sprayer works great to get you clean but it's hard to dry your bum off afterward. But with a wash cloth on the end of the Bottom Buddy you can dry off very well.
