Description of Book Holder Stand

Book Holder Stand The Book Holder Stand enables individuals with limited upper extremity function to read - hands-free and without neck strain - while sitting, standing or lying supine. Reading materials can be quickly strapped to the stand and stay secure in all positions through the use of page holders. The page holders' spring action and soft rubber ends make turning pages a snap, even with one hand. The telescoping stand is height adjustable from 51" (130 cm) to 31" (79 cm) to accommodate individuals at various heights. Rotation of 360 degrees ensures proper positioning and allows users to swing materials out of the way when finished reading. The stand tilts around the horizontal axis and moves closer or further away to allow users to position the reading materials directly in their line of vision. The 17" x 17" x5" (43 x 43 x 13cm) base of the stand is a convenient area to store other reading materials.
