My daughter hates the taste of most liquid cough medicines because of the menthol base or anything grape flavored. When she gets a cough it often goes to her chest very quickly because she has asthma. Wouldn't you know that when looking for an expectorant all I could find were menthol and grape flavored liquids--until I saw this bottle on the shelf. I read the ingredients and thought it might at least taste good. It did taste good, and even more importantly it worked fairly well to clear some of the mucous out of her lungs. I don't know that it works as a suppressant all the well so I was giving her 12 hr Delsym for that. But it definitely helped in the expectorant department. I will definitely purchase it again.
