My father is a jeweler, and he gave this to my fiancee to clean her ring with. It's super easy to use, and does a great job at cleaning up jewelry. We've always used old toothbrushes to really get jewelry clean, so I can't say that we've had any issues with the basket or brush. I would recommend this product to a friend.
