I carry this stuff religiously. It is the only chapstick that I have ever used that did anything. It restores your lips and gives instant relief. I have taken trips and forgotten it at home and all I could think of the whole time was getting back to my lip medex. I honestly do not know how anyone lives without it.Product Review: The only chapped lip product in my home!

I've been using Lip Medex for 16 years. My brother gave me my first little tub in 1993 and I've always carried one ever since. I introduced my now husband to Lip Medex a year later and he's also become a avid user. As another reviewer said; you can put it overnight on chapped lips and wake up with completely healed lips. If the outside of your nose is sore from constant wiping put some lip medex on the sore spots and feel the instant relief. It is that good. The kids hate the smell, but it's the only balm that will keep their lips in good shape. I usually buy it by the case.Product Review: This is the only thing that works for me!

I have had problems with dry/chapped lips most of my life. It doesn't halp that I've lived in states with heavy winters but I've had other issues even during warmer months. Unfortunately, I've had a 'peeling lip' condition that seemed to have no solution until I found information on a forum where others were dealing with the same issue. It sounds horrible, but the skin on my bottom lip would harden and peel. Not only was it visually unappealing, but it could be painful too. I tried every lip balm, moisturizer and treatment I could find. Some would work for a short period of time and soften my lips. But they seemed to make the peeling worse. And wearing lipstick or lip gloss was out of the question. Though summer months were kinder, it was an embarassing condition.
FINALLY, I was reading a health forum and someone posted that LIP MEDEX solved their issue. I picked it up at the local drugstore and that's all she wrote. I put it on at night just before sleeping and woke up with soft lips that lasted all day. There is still minor peeling but it is very, very rare. I've been using LIP MEDEX for over 6 months now and it's changed my life. It sounds like I'm in love with this product and I guess I am. Anything that could solve my lip issue gets that much love. I can wear lipstick and lip gloss with no problems. If they ever stop making it, I'm not sure what I'll do. I'm stocking up from Amazon just in case.

This product worked well. My lips were chapping and it healed them before they could get worse. I'd recommend this to anyone who's living in a cold climate. It's good to put moisture back in your lips before they have a chance to chap. I'll continue to use this product.
