I ordered this cane for my father because according to the photograph it folded into six sections rather than the four sections pictured for other, less expensive, canes. I cannot tell you how the quality compares to those others, but the price is twice as much for what looks to be the same item. I have rated the item highly even though it does not perform as described in that a pull on the cord does nothing; it is merely a wrist cord to prevent dropping. To fold the cane one must pull the sections apart. That is fine, but not as pictured or described. According to the package the cane is 59" long, information not available in the description. Note that I have not measured to confirm that this is correct. I called customer service about these discrepancies and had to leave a message. We will see whether they call back.
