I had cleaned my old pearl track ball and that helped initially but I think its just not meant for as much use scrolling through email like I do. This is a nice replacement reasonably priced and I was able to install it myself fairly easily. Pop out the old, pop in the new carefully, it is small plastic and looks just like new. Works fine, no complaints on this product. Only complaint is to BB, why so much trouble with the trackball that I need to replace it?
