I bought this for my 20-month old son for our recent trip to Mexico. I don't even know how well it works because I didn't even fully apply it. It was very watery and smelled horrible. As soon as I started to apply it to my son's skin, he cried out, as if it was burning him. He may have had a small cut on his knee, but when I then applied the Avon Skin-so-Soft repellant I had also brought, he did not complain.
