Product Review: One of Those Items I Can't Believe I Lived Without!

I LOVE This! A gentle way to wake up- the light slowly comes on over a 15, 30, or 60 minute increment, the radio quietly tunes in (if you want it to) and the backup alarm quietly gets increasingly louder (if you set it to go off). If you you aren't a "morning person," hate being jarred awake, or live in a Northern latitude with a l-o-n-g dark winter you'll want this! And it seems complicated at first, but the directions are surprisingly well written.Product Review: Pluged it in and it worked for a second then went blank....

Hello,
We have been saving to buy this clock for somme time. Desperatly need it. I was so excited when it arrived. But unfortunatly when I pluged it in it turned on for a second then went blank. I can not reveiw the clock its self as i have not had ther oppertunity to use it. I have tried to make contact with shop waves but no one has got back to me. such a shame. a big waste of precious money for me. : -(
Product Review: Sweet light, big volume

Overall we are happy with this clock. It has a great look and also makes nice adjustable mood lighting when used as a regular lamp. I emailed the company with a question and they responded promptly. This is good, because the instructions don't explain everything you might want to know. For instance, while the light intensifies gently over a reasonable period of time, when the radio comes on it does so vigorously to full volume within a few seconds. This is the only feature I don't like. I'll be asking if there's a way to cap the volume at a lower level. In all, having tediously reviewed all the other sunrise clocks out there, and even owned the H&S one, I definitely recommend this one.Product Review: Was not for me

I have a really hard time getting up in the morning, so I thought that maybe if I got something like this, I would wake up more easily since there was a lot of light in my room. That did not happen. It was still just as bad waking up in the morning as using my regualr $15 alarm clock, so I returned this. Way too much money for what you get. I didn't even like the operation of it as compared with a normal alarm clock.Product Review: Works as expected - but too bright for night stand.

This was a very nice light and I found that a setting of a 20 minute sunrise to be just right. Although I do recommend putting it in the corner of a room and maybe behind something else. It was entirely too bright for my nightstand. When it got up to full strength, I wanted to turn it off because I literally had light halo in my vision - even with my eyes closed. All in all though, a GREAT light for those suffering from a body clock conflicts during fall and winter.
