Product Review: Not Bad - But Earlier Reviews Are Overly Glowing

I've been looking for a tasty protein supplement for a while. Have tried everything at GNC, Trader Joe's, most of the stuff at the supermarket, Costco, etc., and came across Bill Phillips here on Amazon. Very highly reviewed, so had to give it a try.
Initially, I mixed it with skim milk. Then I opted to add it to some blended drinks (Blendtec smoothies).
My findings: the stuff is "okay".
As someone else mentioned, it tastes a bit metallic. That's true. Also, the vanilla isn't very vanilla. It's merely adequate, and tastes very similar to other nutrition powders. Also has that pasty-in-your-mouth feeling while drinking it, so again, just like all the other brands.
This isn't a bad nutritional supplement, it just isn't all that great. The packaging is definitely convenient, allowing you to take a 1-Ounce pouch with you (that's how they come in the box). But aside from that, nothing special here.
Won't be buying this again.

The Product itself is great. I love to mix this with my oatmeal in the morning. Unfortunately, my package from Amazon was opened, and 1 of the packets was missing. I got 11 instead of 12. Looks like someone in the shipping department wanted to sample the product also. Bill Phillips has done it RIGHT with the RIGHT protein shakes! They are loaded with great ingredients and no artificial sweeteners. They taste great and are reasonably priced, which, for me, makes RIGHT shakes the right choice!Product Review: SO GOOD!!

Protein doesn't get any better then this!! This has the BEST ingredients in it and are the highest quality! When Bill Phillips does something he does it RIGHT!!! I have followed him for years and he never does anything half way. This tastes delicious too!!
