If only there were negative stars for rating this product. The first one I had right out of the box was dead. I bought a new battery and replaced the one from the factory - still totally dead. Returned it - got another one - out of the box it indicated that the battery needed to be replaced. Lucky me I just happened to have one. The scale seemed to work but the weight variation was terrible. My wife lost 13 pounds in one day - oops no she gained six pounds the next day. My family likes to weigh ourselves...a lot, probably more than the typical family. So when our old scale broke (it was glass and literally shattered) we opted for the Biggest Loser scale. It was a good price and we like the show. I've weighed myself everyday this week, at the same time each day, and received a reading range of 8 lbs! The gym scale reading I got yesterday was 135 lbs. But the biggest looser scale had me at 137, 132, 135, 132, 136, 133, and 139 this week. I realize that weight fluctuates day to day but by a pound or two, not 8. If the scales on the show are this nuts I'm not sure the right people are getting kicked off. I wouldn't recommend buying this one. It's worth the extra money to get a scale that gives an accurate reading every time. Product Review: weighing in

I'm pretty happy with the scale. It seems to weigh fairly accurate. I wish it would weigh me lighter, but when your not skinny your not skinny!!!!! Product Review: Nice scale but does not work

I bought the scale in July 2008, but "Err" message appears every time when we use it since two weeks ago. It does not work now. Give it a star just because the design is nice.
