I bought one of these scales because of a health condition that has me weighing myself daily. I weigh myself daily, in boxer shorts and a tee shirt.
A week or two ago, I weighed myself in the morning, threw on jeans, a button-up shirt, a sweater, and socks and shoes. Went to the doctor. Somehow, on the doctor's scale, with all the additional clothing, I somehow weighed three pounds less.
Testing against a couple other scales has shown me that, in fact, this scale simply doesn't work. It consistently adds about five pounds.
I guess that's where the "Biggest Loser" part comes from-- it'll make you feel like a loser by telling you you're fatter than you are.
It did come with a free pedometer that doesn't work either, though, so I guess there's that...
