Description of Bernard Jensen - Alfalfa - 1000 tablets
Al-Fal-Fa means "Father of all foods" in Arabic. Long used as a health tonic in the herbal traditions of the Middle East and Asia, alfalfa has also been prized by herbalists to address a wide range of complaints, from sluggishness, digestive disorders and constipation, to controlling body odor and managing blood sugar. The deep-rooted alfalfa plant draws nutrients from deeper, unadulterated soil, and is a good source of trace minerals. Bernard Jensen's Brand Alfalfa Supplement, offers 550mg of alfalfa leaf extract in each tablet from sun-ripened leaves. Manufacturer instructions are to take 4-5 tablets with meals. Each 1000 ct. bottle contains 200 servings. Alfalfa is not intended for use during pregnancy, in persons with pea allergy, hayfever, autoimmune disorders or those taking blood thinning medications.
