Product Reviews of Berman Center Athena Waterproof Mini MassagerProduct Review: Did not work when I received it Summary: 1 Stars
This product did not work when I received it. Not good product representation. Very disappointed in product.
Product Review: Discovery!! Summary: 5 Stars
This artifact is a discovery!
I got it based on the users reviews and of course Oprah's show.
I have given it as presents to my two best friends. One was getting out of a divorse, and the other one getting married. They absolutely loved it!
Product Review: Does Its Job Summary: 5 Stars
Quick and too the point. It serves its purpose. Love it. The different attachments are pretty cool also. Just sucks when the battery is dying.
Product Review: Does anyone make decent quality toys? Summary: 2 Stars
This thing, when it works, does it's thing well enough. Almost well enough to be called impressive for a cheap toy with one AA battery. BUT
As others have said it's extremely cheaply made. The metal bit doesn't always make contact (I had to bend mine with some pliers to make it work properly). The way you turn it on/off has two problems. First, you twist the two halves relative to one another to get on/off, and the plastic is smooth and slippery. This means with any lube or moisture on the toy at all, it's impossible to turn on or off. Second, there are three positions you can twist the toy to; on, off, and open. I.e. if you twist the toy past off, it pops open. So you have a slippery vibrating thing in your hand and you get a good enough grip to twist it to 'off' but you go right past off and it pops open, battery falls out, mood ruined.
It's an inexpensive toy, and I guess you get what you pay for. I have *NO* idea how it got recommended on oprah or whatever (I read that in someone elses review). This is not a 'nice' toy, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it unless you plan to throw it away after a few uses. If you're looking for a quality vibrator, step up and get the hitachi wand with a lamp dimmer. $50 or so and you'll have everything you'll ever need (although you can't carry it in your pocket). If I find a *nice* little pocketable vibrator any time in the near future, I'll put it in this review as well. It seems like most of these toys are made on a shoestring budget though.
Product Review: Does the job. Summary: 4 Stars
I agree with the previous reviews stating that the product does look "used." It may "look" used but how can they sell used massagers? No one is that low to sell a used product new lol. It may not be enjoyable for all maybe because they expect too much? However, for $5 what can you expect? I am honestly happy with my product and it has spiced up my sex life!
