Product Reviews of Berman Center Athena Waterproof Mini MassagerProduct Review: A Bargain in Pleasure-Seeking Summary: 4 Stars
For $7, this is a nifty little device and a real bargain. The vibrator is basically a single-speed motor running on one AA cell. It is encased in hard plastic with several softer plastic tips for a variety of sensations, plus a little bag to carry the entire ensemble. Cute.
The motor is powerful enough for most anyone. The battery should last sufficiently long for 5-10 uses, but having some spares on hand would be sensible. The tips are adequate and generally comfortable. Set up and use requires a bit of care: the battery compartment uses a single strip of metal (bent at one end, straight on the other) which fits around the battery. When the vibrator is properly assembled and twisted to the "on" position, this strip must connect with the rest of the switch. If you don't pay attention to this, the vibrator may not turn on, Durability is unknown, but for $7 do you really care that much? It should last at least a couple of months and perhaps more, depending on how you use it. It is waterproof enough for the intended use, but immersing it or getting it seriously wet would not be very bright.
As a mini-vibrator, this device is designed best for solo use, especially outside the bedroom where discretion is needed; and relations with a partner where both physical intercourse and stimulation with a vibrator seem like a good idea. A maxi-vibrator is often too big for the latter situation.
Does the vibrator actually work well? In general, it does, but there are some cautionary notes. This vibrator is 4.25 inches long. This works best for women who have a normal to low BMI. As the BMI goes up, the labia thicken. 4.25 inches is not sufficient to penetrate the labia, massage the G-spot, and still be comfortably held. For women who are somewhat heavier in build, a 7-inch mini is likely to be a better if less discreet choice.
I hope this helps.
Product Review: A good Vib Summary: 5 Stars
Very good Vib for the price. You get 4 removable head that come along with it. It also comes with a bag for storage. Very travel friendly. I just wish it had different speeds. I love it. It get the job done and then some.
Product Review: A nice travel vibrator Summary: 4 Stars
Actually, the Pocket Rocket has been a round quite a while. What's new is the seven interchangeable massage heads. This handy little gadget is useful as a small massager, though as its one AA battery suggests, it's not too powerful. It is just right, though, for taking with you, wherever you go, and quickly and effectively massaging sore or tense spots.
Even better, though, is using it as a vibrator! The pocket rocket is small enough to hide in a nightstand, and it's nice and quiet. It is definitely of the "outie" variety, though, so please do not even consider inserting it in any opening.
So, if you want a small and quiet "outie" vibrator, one that's light on the battery requirements, then get the Athena Waterproof Mini Massager. It's a great piece of vacation gear!

Product Review: AMAZING!! Summary: 5 Stars
This thing is amazing. It only takes one battery and it lasts forever. It truely is waterproof. The best part of it is that it is small so I can hide it anywhere (in terms of storage). It doesnt make a lot of noise. And best of all, it takes you from 0 to orgasm in like 30 seconds. I would recommend this to anyone.
Product Review: AWESOME! Summary: 5 Stars
I've had the Athena for less than 12 hours and am already THOROUGHLY happy with my purchase! This is the first vibrator I've ever owned, and I purchased it as a way to explore what makes me tick. My boyfriend and I have an extremely healthy physical relationship, and while everything we do feels great to me, nothing has ignited the fireworks...nothing, that is, until this little beauty fell into my lap! I purchased the Athena as a 1st time vibrator solely based on its price. I saw it advertised by Dr. Berman on the Oprah show and decided to get it since it was only $7 dollars - if it didn't work out, no great expense would be wasted! Having this little gadget was the key to discovering that I'm NOT broken...I finally got to experience the fireworks! Now I can't wait to use the Athena in the bedroom with my boyfriend! My only complaint is that the vibrator is slightly louder than I was expecting, and my bedroom walls are rather thin, but it's nothing a pillow can't fix!
