Product Reviews of Belly-bar, Burstin' Chocolate, Deep Chocolate Orange, 1.59-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12)Product Review: Increadible! Like Dessert :) Summary: 5 Stars
This bar is fabulous! I absolutely love it. It has a slight hint of orange and reminds me of my favorite Swiss Dark Chocolate with Orange...but I don't have to feel guilty about eating it! It is my perfect late night snack (and my husband tries to sneak a bite too..I don't think so!) :)
Product Review: Oh man these are good! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought these during a promotion from Amazon and I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm a nursing mother and I'm always looking for a fast, easy, and usually one-handed way way to get calories in me. I'm very happy with this purchase. They are tasty, filling, and best of all chocolate that I don't need to feel guilty about! I am very picky about energy bars and that sort of thing, and this one is good enough to have as a desert! The fact that it actually has Omega-3, folic acid, iron, and protein is just a bonus.
Product Review: Sounds delicious, hard to swallow Summary: 3 Stars
I'm staring at my box underneath my desk with guilty conscience. I know it's good for me and my baby, but it's dry and filling in a not-so-pleasant way. The first bar will taste delicious...and then you won't finish the box :)
Product Review: They're good but I have too many now!! Summary: 4 Stars
Several things about these Belly Bars:
1) I started eating them during my first trimester, when I was totally nauseous all the time, so now when I try to eat them, I have a hard time swallowing.
2) Having said that, they're really very tasty for being so nutritious.
3) There are so many in the box, though, that I've shared a few with fellow pregnant friends. Sharing is caring :)
I've also tried the mellow oat variety and enjoy those much more, but that might be because I started eating THOSE in my second trimester, when I can eat almost anything without feeling sick (except almonds).
Overall, I like Belly Bars!!
