These bars are so dry and very hard to swallow. I had to concentrate while eating them to keep myself from gagging. I had to make sure to chew thoroughly so I wouldn't throw it up. I have terrible morning sickness and a strong gag reflex so I don't think these bars are for me. I think the shakes are much better because they taste delicious and they have more nutrition and calories than these bars. I love the shakes.
