I had the unfortunate luck to contract scabies from an ex-boyfriend of mine. Needless to say, I was not looking forward to what I was going to have to do to rid myself of them. Just like lice, you have to wash EVERYTHING you own to rid your environment of the mites and their eggs. As we all know, not everything fits in a washer/dryer or a plastic bag (where they can be starved to death). I did so much research on the best cure for scabies, and something that would help prevent a re-infestation for the items that could not be washed. I found this product and decided to give it a try. I love the fact that it's completely safe around humans and pets. (It states it's even safe in hospitals!) I have a cat, and since my bed was the area that had the majority of the infestation, I wanted to be able to sleep on my bed after spraying it!
This stuff is EXCELLENT! My skin was raw and open in many areas, and I accidentally spilled some on a wound. It didn't even slightly sting! I have sprayed my entire apartment, and I am ecstatic to say that I am officially scabies free! It does have a very mild vinegar type of smell to it, but it airs out VERY quickly, and is not strong at all. I detest vinegar, and it didn't bother me in the least. This product is AMAZING! I even sprayed my cat's bedding, and she didn't even seem to mind the smell, and has shown NO signs of irritation from the spray itself. I love this product so much that I actually bought another 2 bottles to help keep from re-infestation, and because it protects against so many different things! I highly recommend this product to anyone having issues with mites, lice, bed bugs or anything else of that sort. I'm looking forward to keeping the fleas at bay this Summer using this product as well. ^_^ Scabies is a treacherous little bugger to deal with, and I am so relieved to know that there is a product out there to help with the things that cannot be washed or medicated. As I'm sure you can tell from my novel of a review, this is good stuff, man!
