Product Reviews of BandIT Therapeutic Forearm BandProduct Review: BandIT Therapeutic Forearm Band is the greatest! Summary: 5 Stars
Painful tendinitis in both the medial and lateral aspects of my right elbow greatly impacted my performance on the golf course and tennis court. Over the years, I've tried many devices designed to relieve elbow pain, and prevent further injury, but the BandIT forearm band has been unquestionably the best.
Product Review: BandIT Works Great! Summary: 5 Stars
Received the product from the vendor in a timely manner. Probably the best forearm brace I've tried and I've tried several model and brands.
Product Review: BandIT Works Well Summary: 5 Stars
I developed tennis elbow from, of all things, excessive, uninterrupted mouse utilization while doing Internet research. Based on Internet reviews and healthcare sites, the forearm band seemed to be a simple fix. Indeed, it was. The BandIT's outer, rigid plastic shell supports a soft rubber pad that is placed over the offending muscle/ligament group. By doing so, the band absorbs most of the muscle energy that would otherwise be transferred to the ligament and its point of insertion on the humerus' lateral epicondyle. Regardless of the many, varied recommendations as to placement (some measured from the elbow, some from the crook of the arm/forearm), I experimented until I found that point at which I felt the most pressure on the muscle from the band when I made a fist (for me about 3-1/2 inches from the tip of the elbow). Unlike elastic bands or straps that completely encircle the forearm, the BandIT's Velcro retention strap does not interfere with circulation. Finally, the rubber pads do not absorb sweat so the odor noted in some reviews with other products was not an issue.
Product Review: BandIT is best Summary: 5 Stars
I have been managing carpal tunnel problems for over 10 years. I have bought and worn many straps for my forearms. Many of them are decent, but it often seems like they are not tight enough. The first time I wore BandIt I was convinced it was the only thing to use from now on. Most of the people on my staff use it as well. There is nothing better that I am aware of.
Product Review: BandIT is simply the best in its class Summary: 5 Stars
I've suffered from occasional bouts of tendonitis and the consequential irritation of the ulnar nerve for many years. I have an active work and sports life, so my activities sometimes result in injuries that once took weeks or months to to heal. Until I found BandIT I had no choice but to completely rest my arm and use anti-inflammatory medicine. I've also learned the use of the BandIt during potentially injurious activities can completely prevent the injury to begin with.
While I didn't purchase BandIT through Amazon, I've owned one for more than five years and in that time it has managed to prevent the injury or shorten the recovery period from tendonitis and reduced the need for anti-inflammatory drugs, all the while allowing me to continue to work and participate in sports. While I do need to take some extra precautions against reinjury, I've never found another product, including the Futuro tendonitis brace and other similar bands, that have duplicated the results of this product. Bottom line: the BandIt places pressure at the exact two points necessary to releive 90% of the stress on the tendon, allowing it to recover and heal. I still recommend the use of ice for the first 48 hours, and then alternating ice and heat until the inflammation is completely gone. P.S. the KneedIt product for the knee works just as well for similar knee problems. Great healing products, great preventive products!!
