Owned these for about 2-3 years. They have a pretty strong rubber smell, but that's the only downside so far. I generally add the bands to my freeweight lifting (such as running the band under the bench and onto each end of the bar) for added resistance at the top of my ROM. They aren't quite as much resistance as I was expecting, but it is nice to have a few and be able to add/remove a band or two as I go through my sets to get the right amount of resistance.
