I normally dont eat energy bars but my sister bought me a box so I tried these out. They're a little chewy but I really enjoy the taste, similar to a snickers bar as another reviewer mentioned. I like these mostly because I'm a cardio-kickboxing instructor and I teach my class right after work. I usually eat half of one of these bars about 2 hours before class and it really keeps me going! My husband also eats these as an afternoon snack while he's at work and he says that they really hold him over until dinner time. I like to have these with some hot tea or just plain hot water and it feels like I'm eating a dessert.Product Review: This is the best I've tasted so far

Most bars I've had to force myself to eat, even plugging my nose sometimes as I pound them down for their protein. This is a very good tasting bar, I just bought a couple boxes. No chalky taste. Not the highest in protein, but you can eat 2 of them, they're not real big.Product Review: Um Um - good, but a little messy if shipped in warm weather!

The Balance Bar Gold Caramel really does taste similar to a candy bar with the plus of being very filling. This one tastes similar to a Snickers. I eat a Balance Bar every morning and like all that I have tried. However, I find that the chocolate ones have a tendency to arrive a little melted if shipped in warm weather. I recommend the Balance Bars if you like a good, fairly sweet pick-up with vitimans, but be aware of the shipping problem with the chocolate.Product Review: Wonderful tool for my eating!

I discovered these in April of this year and love them! They are a perfect blend of great flavor, reasonable calories, high amount of protein and lots of vitamins. These peanut butter bars, along with the caramel nut ones, are my favorites!Product Review: caramel nut blast

how sad that this product has been changed. i use these bars as part of my weight control after losing weight last yr. i have been using them since last feb. it is easy to taste the difference. they now have a waxy taste to them. to bad.
