I bought a few lumbar cushions b/c I needed one for the car/airplane, one for the office, one for the home office. So I tried 3 different kinds (all through Amazon). I liked this one the best for the car b/c my subaru outback has really weird uncomfortable seats and this one allowed me to deflate it so I had the right amount of support. It also worked well on an airplane for the same reasons. And it folds up quickly. I am buying a second one for my husband because he has tried to steal it!Product Review: Just a reminder, not for daily use

As it specified, it is supposed to be used occasionally, such as travel, not daily use. I tried to use it daily at my office, but it soon worn out, and deflate quickly. I have to return it.Product Review: Leaks - Don't waste your money

This cushion lasted just long enough that I couldn't return it to Amazon. It developed a severe leak, and would not stay inflated for more than a few minutes. In looking at the reviews, other people experienced this same problem. Buyer beware. Don't waste your money on this product. It was a good cushion while it lasted, but one does expect something like this to last a bit longer than 40 days.
Update 02/2008: The manufacturer saw this review, and sent me two replacement Back Boosters at no cost to me. I must say that I am impressed with the company's extremely proactive willingness to make things right. I will test out the replacement, and post a further update.
03/28/2008: I would agree with the review from "Cat's Meow" posted in January, 2008. Three stars - it's an adequate product, but not too helpful for someone with severe chronic back pain.

I have to sit for hours at the computer to do my work, and my lower back has been bothering me on and off for years. I tried the Back Booster at the suggestion of a friend, and it is GREAT! It is easy to inflate and deflate when I move around to another location. The packaging is nice and fits in my purse. I have gotten more to give to other friends with similar problems as well.Product Review: Love this cushion!

I love this cushion! It is lightweight and convenient to use. The elastic strap fits over the back of many chairs, keeping it from falling on the floor, which happens so often with other cushions. Since it is inflatable, it can be filled to suit the user, and conforms well to the back, and to shifting body position.
