I tried this with my teething 8 month old, and with only the tiniest little dab, she started gagging and threw up (which she's never done). When I tried it myself, I could see why - it's so strong! Try it yourself first, and if you wouldn't use it, don't give it to your baby. We're sticking to teethers from now on.Product Review: Excellent teething-pain relief

Easy to use - just snap the tip with the pink stripes and the liquid saturates the cotton ball tip on the other end. I like using these because I no longer have to subject a finger or two to a very upset mouth (I always got bit).
If anything, there is a little bit too much Orajel in a swab, but you can always just use as much as medically advisable and then toss the rest.
