Product Review: Tastes Horrible

This is the 6th "Chocolate" flavored protein powder I have used, and all I have to say is that it tastes horrible. I've only used it once (this morning) so I can't comment on many aspects of this product, but I can guarantee its not better than the others to a point where it's worth the horrible taste. From the moment I opened the jar I knew I'd made a mistake - it smells as bad as it tastes. This is the only protein powder thats ever triggered my gag reflux while drinking it. gross.
This is just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth - but I would recommend trying this flavor before you buy a 3lb jar, just to make sure you like it. If you do, let me know, I'll give you the rest of mine!
PS - it blends well.

Cannot say enough about how delicious the chocolate milkshake flavor is. I don't usually even like chocolate but based on the feedback that everyone else gave it I had to try it. I have to say that I'm floored by how good it is. That will make it easy to be a meal substitute. Amazon has the best price on this stuff by far. I tried a couple of protein powders but just couldn't ingest them (I don't like sugary taste much), however the strawberry version tasted great, one of the review feedback was to use a blender which was very true, without blender it isn't uniform, with blender it is great.
I started consuming this for over a week, started slowly and increased the daily intake to 3-4 times/day, at the same time I reduced my daily calorie intake by about 20% and started having multiple smaller meals at regular intervals.
This helped me get rid of 2-3 pounds around my waist (still 2-3 more stubburn pounds are left), reduced the size, and added a moderate muscle mass, will continue using this for a while and perhaps post back more promising results in 2-3 months.
In other reviews I found that folks were concerned about the protein grams and price, however my opinion is that one should zero in on one or two good products and ingrain them in their daily nutrition plan, this simple and consistent approach will make up for any minor issues and provide good results in the long run.
As usual, the caveat is that this is no silver bullet to a flat abs (or six-packs), this will work only if you have a good diet and a regular exercise schedule, if not then perhaps you are better off getting these two in place before spending your money on any protein powders.
