Great tasting protein with alot of good stuff in too including casein. So its almost like a good meal replacement. This is a good protein for anyone trying to have a clean bulk up. I mean it wont just put calories and fat into you, you get a good amount of protein for the amount you buy. I did see a difference in strength and somewhat size. But the casein and the recovery from this protein is through the roof. I dont feel sore the next day of my workouts. For someone whos counting carbs, this may not suite your needs. But the flavor, its by far the best that i have tased so far. Also, buying this through Amazon, was really cheap even with the shipping. Only con was that this is pretty high in carbs and some fat since I take two scoops for my protein needs.Product Review: Good Protein, bad taste

I love other bsn products like no-xplode, which tastes fine to me, but this stuff is just horrible when it comes to taste. The ingredients are great, so if you can tough it out you will be getting a protein for bodybuilding.Product Review: Good product

Taste is good, even better with skim milk. Has a good amount of protein for post-workout but probably could use more (22 grams seems too little, should aim for at least 35, so I would recommend two scoops to compensate). I bought this protein about two months ago in Vanilla Ice cream flavor and thought it tasted pretty good. I didn't really like the consistency as it was much thicker than any other protein I had tasted, but I just added more water and it got better (except the taste got more washed out). I drank it twice a day and had no problem with the taste and noticed good results from it. Once I finished it, I thought I would try another flavor so I ordered the Chocolate Milkshake flavor. This has had to be the worst tasting protein I have ever had! I know this is a personal preference, but I just couldn't drink the whole glass the first time. I think the worst part is that it is extremely hard to mix the powder. I always mix it with a spoon and have never had trouble mixing my previous protein powders (including the vanilla flavor from this brand), but this one just would not mix. Every time drank it, there were a bunch of little balls that hadn't dissolved. The flavor itself isn't the greatest either in my opinion but I could drink it if it wasn't for it not dissolving.
I've been taking protein powders for a while now and out of all the ones I have taken I would highly recommend Muscle Milk. I feel that it has by far the best taste out of any other protein powder and it also has a great consistency. I also like that muscle milk has more vitamins and extra supplements included. For example, muscle milk contains Vitamin A,C,D,E,B6,and B12 while the BSN Syntha 6 does not include any of those. It also as more calcium, iron, and potassium. The Syntha 6 does give you more calories (400 instead of 300) and protein (44 instead of 32) per serving, but taking everything from taste and consistency to ingredients included, I will go back to muscle milk.
Remember that most of this review is my personal taste preference and some may love BSN Syntha 6. Also I would give the vanilla flavor 4 stars and the chocolate flavor 2 stars, but since they're combined in one review I'll give them 3
