"Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion" was recommended to me by my Doctor. My skin was so dry that I was using lotions like crazy. I tried so many of them, and within hours I had to reapply. I was always feeling greasy after application. It was like I was oiling up to swim the English Channel or something.
So I gave this one a try. One more to add to the list. The difference was this one actually worked! It says it moisturizes for 24 hours (yeah right!, I thought), and it does. It absorbs quickly, and left my skin feeling much smoother. One tip my Doctor gave me, that I'll pass along is to just barely pat dry after showering, and apply the lotion while still a little wet. That way the lotion will capture the moisture.
The ingredients use an Oatmeal formula and contains the following:Dimethicone 1.25% (Skin Protectant)|Water|Glycerin|Distearyldimonium Chloride|Petrolatum|Isopropyl Palmitate|Cetyl Alcohol|Avena Sativa Kernel Flour (Oat)|Benzyl Alcohol|Sodium Chloride. It is fragrance free and states it will not clog pores.
Now here's the really good part..I bought this in the 12 0z. size at my local market and it cost even more then the 18 0z. size here. The 2 pack here is a very good deal - but - the best deal is when it is in stock at Amamzon and you can order direct. The multi-packs(from amazon) will usually include free shipping with qualifying purchases. So keep an eye out for that, or check around(it is sold from various sellers here) and compare prices and shipping charges for best deals.
Great for dry, chapped, flaking or windburned skin. Take it with you on sailing or skiing trips. Excellent product and great buy.
