The Auth method is a beautifully developed style of bodywork that will teach you how to give a full body session using mostly the forearms, thus saving the joints in your fingers. This video clearly guides you through the full body routine, showing you how to work body mechanics properly and use your energy most efficiently.
One of the most important things the video reminded me as a practitioner, is not to strain. To allow my body weight to just sink in to as far as my clients body was ready. Its really about being in sync and flowing, not pushing. We should be enjoying and receiving from our work as much as our clients are.
As a seasoned acupuncturist and massage therapist, I know how important it is to start shifting techniques after time to save your body. When implemented correctly, you will get great results with this technique for your clients, without overburdening your hands. I feel I can work for years to come, knowing I have this technique in my toolbox.
